This industry isn’t one you hear about every day. I’m not an accountant or a teacher.
So I get a lot of questions like, who is going to hire a body confidence coach?
or, “what does a body confidence coach do?”
Let me break it down so you know if it’s a good fit.
Body confidence isn’t about liking the way your body looks, although eventually you will get there. When you truly are confident in your body it’s because you have a healthy, loving relationship with your body.
This starts by seeing yourself as separate from your body. You can’t have a relationship with something that is YOU. By definition, that’s not relating…that’s being.
But you live inside your body. So you must be separate from it.
See how that works?
When I coach clients, I guide them through simple, logical steps like this to untangle the emotional stress they carry around their body.
Before working with any coach, you have to know what you’re trying to achieve. Get really clear on how you want to feel, what your relationship with your body would feel like and look like if you could wave a magic wand.
If you want someone to help you lose weight, I’m not your person. You might lose weight as a result of lowering your stress, appreciating your body, and getting consistently good sleep (something I recommend to every client) but if that’s what you’re looking for, you aren’t ready.
If you click off this page and never see my content again, I want you to take away one thing.
Your relationship with your body is not determined by your weight.
Stop making this about what you weigh, what you want to weigh, and why those numbers on the scale are to blame for your unhappiness. News flash, they aren’t. There are women right now in my program who look incredible by most standards and still struggle to feel at peace with their body.
A good coach isn’t going to measure progress based on your appearance. Neither should you.
But when you want me all to yourself, you want someone who’s going to hear you out, never judge you, meet you where you’re at, but love you too much to let you stay there…that’s where my 1:1 coaching is a God send.
It doesn’t take long to make significant progress in your relationship with your body. In fact, my VIP coaching experience is a 30 day reset.
That’s right. In 30 days you could have a completely new relationship with your body. Am I promising you will love your body and everything will be amazing? No. But I am saying your perspective and relationship can have a fresh start, in 30 days.
