The simplest way to change the direction of your life is to accept where you are now.
We are so good at pretending like everything is okay and things aren’t as bad as we think, but you need to get real if you want things to change.
It takes confidence to look inside and validate those thoughts and feelings you’re having.
Because more often than not, those feelings aren’t something you’re proud of.
But when you realize those feelings are temporary, that’s when things get powerful.
You can choose to make simple changes to your perspective to go down a new path towards a life you really love.
My guest on the show today, Veronica Parker, is such a great voice on this topic.
She’s sharing everything about removing judgement from our lives and ending the inner turmoil going on.
The first part is getting real.
Everyone goes through hard times and has self critical thoughts now and then.
The only way to really work through it and clear them out is by acknowledging they’re really there.
More importantly, that they’re effecting your life.
When you’re stuck in a pattern of denial or thinking you’re all alone in this, that’s when it’s hard to make changes.
Releasing yourself from judgement and guilt around your feelings is a huge step in changing your life!
If you want your life to go in new directions, you have to try new things!
Maybe even things you’re scared to do.
Veronica and I talk about how you can actually use fear as your guide in life.
When you’re afraid to do something, that’s just your instinct trying to keep you safe.
The thing about instinct is that it hasn’t evolved much from the days of living in caves, trying not to die from starvation or lions.
Our world today is actually much safer than it was back then.
Plus, if you believe there’s a higher power with a plan for your life, you have to trust that plan is going to be better than anything you can come up with on your own!
